Experince: Typhoon Ondoy
Saturday, September 26, 2009 - It has been raining non stop for almost 24 hours already. I went outside to go to my grandmother's house, I saw the flood has been rising in our place every minute. We need to put all our staff upstairs. At around 11:00am the water is on our waist and the rain still pouring heavily. Our neighbors are getting panic without food to eat because our kitchen is flooded we decided to evacuate the place before it's too late. My uncle's girlfriend was stranded in Marikina River Bank because of the flood in Marikina River. We are worried because as what my uncle's girlfriend said the second floor of ICT has been occupied by the flood they don't have electricity and food to eat. With my husband, grandmother, uncle and my 3 nephews, go directly to the flood without any hesistation just to get out of the place.
