Diarrhea

Diarrhea is caused by a host of bacterial, viral, protozoa and parasitic organisms most of which are spread through contaminated water. Diarrhea is one cause of dehydration and can result to death. WHAT CAN YOU DO? Ensure your baby gets plenty of fluids When an infant has diarrhea, continue breast-feeding. When bottle feeding, dilute cow's milk with twice the normal amount of water. Consult your doctor, especially when the diarrhea persists for more than two days in a child.

Language is important

According to Mead Johnson, "Language  plays a very important role in a child's intellectual and social development and encompasses the four principles of communication: listening, speaking, reading and writing." As your baby grows, they also learn how to communicate with you. They are studying all your actions and interpret it with their language. Example they cry and you will came to pick them up.  Your baby need language to communicate with you and other people. Language development is a way for you and your child to have communication. Example, when you look at your baby and play a peek-a-boo your baby will smile or laugh. Your baby will learn to play peek-a-boo with you, setting the stage for using language for social skills. Baby Milestones

Having a baby is truly an amazing experience. It is a gift of love between mother and child that compares to no other. Naturally, as a  mother, you want only the best in life for your child but having a baby can be a time of anticipation, excitement and, for many new parents, uncertainty.
