HEALTH BENEFITS OF MALUNGGAY (MORINGA OLEIFERA)

Moringa malunggay is known as the 'Miracle Tree' because all its parts are beneficial for health. It is also called Drumstick Tree and in the Philippines, it is known as malunggay. Malunggay helps increase breastmilk production for most moms. Malunggay is also very rich in nutrients. The reason behind this is the large volume of the salad, which makes us feel satisfied. Another research published in the Journal of the American Dietetic Association showed that individuals who ate a bowl of salad daily had higher levels of the good antioxidants in their blood. In addition, vegetables are high in fiber, which helps you feel fuller for fewer calories. Bananas is a good source of potassium and fiber. There is a 400mg potassium in a single medium-size banana. It also contain three natural sugars - sucrose, fructose and glucose. Ingredients: 1 piece small Green Papaya, sliced 2 cups calabaza squash, sliced Loofah (Patola), sliced Lemon Grass (Optional) 3 medium tomatoes, sliced 10 to 15 small Okra 1 cup malunggay (moringa) leaves 4 cloves garlic, lightly crushed 1 thumb ginger, chopped 1 to 2 teaspoons salt 4 to 6 cups rice-washing water Procedure: Heat a cooking pot and pour in rice-washing water. Let boil. Add garlic, ginger, and lemongrass. Boil for 5 to 7 minutes. Remove the lemongrass. Add papaya and calabaza squash. Boil for 6 minutes. Add tomatoes, okra, and loofah. Saints are people who love God very much. During their life on earth, they obeyed the teachings of Jesus. They shared their time, talents, food, and other things with other people. They sacrificed for the sake of love for God. The saints are now happy with God in heaven. We honor the saints because they followed the teaching of Jesus. They loved and offered their lives to the poor and the needy. They preached the Good News.  Their lives are good examples for us. In our Church we have a special day to honor our saints. This special day is on November 1, every year. HOW DO WE HONOUR SAINTS? We try to be good and kind like them We pray to the saints to pray to God for us We observe All Saint's Day. Tips on how to explain to your child why you have to work

What will you do when your son tells you that he wants you to be with him? He wants you to stop working just to be with him. This is the moment that every mother wants to cry. You feel weaken, disappointed, and best of all you feel that you don't give everything to him to feel he is loved. Now a days mothers need to work, to help their partner in financial. It's a good idea to help your children make the connection between a job and money, which is something they don't immediately understand . Explaining that you need to earn money to pay their school or to have food on the table is a great opportunity to teach your child about how the world works and how to value money. Talking to your child about your work will requires time, energy, patience and persistence. Just remember that give more time to your child rather than your work. If it is not necessary for your to take overtime just go home and have some fun with your child. Try to at least see him before going to bed

Ang mga Mangyan ay isang pangkat etniko ng mga Pilipino sa Pilipinas. Ang katawagan sa kanila na Mangyan ay may kaugnayan sa salitang magus at majika dahil may karunungan sila tunkol sa ilang salamangka gaya ng lumay at kulam. A study from Scotland of close to 5,000 subjects showed that those who ate chocolate regularly had a lower risk for heart disease by 42 percent. • Helps reduce inflammation and high blood pressure.
