Praying is talking and listening to god. When we pray, we do it with all our hearts. We pray the lords prayer. The lord prayer is a special prayer taught t us by Jesus. This is what the prayer means.
Father
When we say father, it is like saying "Daddy", "Papa", or "Tatay". So, Jesus tells us to call God, "Father".

Our Father

When we consider God as our Father, that means that we also consider other people as our brothers or sisters.
It is really difficult to describe God. We use symbols or pictures to describe Him. We use heaven.

Hallowed be Thy Name

Some people do not know who God is. So, they do not respect Him. Let us try to  help other people to know about God and to love Him.

Thy Kingdom come

When we listen to our parents, teachers, priests, and nuns or other people who teach about God, we have to open our minds and hearts. When we do so, the reign of God will grow.

Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven

God wants everyone to live together happily.

Give us this day our daily bread

When we ask God to give us bread or other things, this will not come by magic. We pray for good health and strength so that we can work and earn money to buy the things we need. We also share to others the blessing we receive from God.

Forgive us our trespasses

Our sins can hurt people. When we commit sins and are sorry for it, God forgives us and we promise not to sin again.

As we forgive those who trespass against us

God forgives our sins if we also forgive others.

And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil

There are ties when we are tempted to do wrong. We ask God to help us to be strong so that we will not do wrong.

Amen

When we say "Amen", it means that we believe. It means that it is true so we do it.

When the people saw this they began to complain saying  "He has gone to the house of a sinner."
