Planning your wedding

Planning your dream wedding doesn't mean it has to be expensive. We can choose from an array of inexpensive wedding suppliers to help make your wedding on a budget.

Things to remember:
1. Determine the exact amount you can afford to spend and what you can set aside for your wedding budget.
2. Assign certain parts of the budget to specific wedding categories (ceremony, reception, bride, and groom's ward robe, rings, etc)
3. Make a checklist on your notebook about what you'll be needing in planning and preparing your wedding. Example the documents, ceremony, reception details, honeymoon, etc.
4. Determine a time frame for each category, so you'll know when you should be working on one and by what time you should get it done.
5. Choose a theme. There are variant of theme such as, Filipino Traditional Wedding where the bride carries a heirloom rosary with the bridal bouquet during the nuptial mass and having a money dance ceremony where guests pin peso bills on either the bride or groom and in return they get a chance to dance with them; Summer Theme; Beach Theme; Christmas Theme; Garden Theme; and many more.
6. Enlist the help of your friends or relatives. They are most likely familiar with the wedding requirements well connected or more accessible to suppliers, and more than eager to be involved in your wedding planning.
7. Scout for suppliers Bridal glossies & wedding websites offer a wide range of suppliers to choose from. Attending wedding expos is also a big help, as it allows you to meet suppliers one by one in different locations. "Theme & Motifs" is a great source for expos
8. Trim your list to three suppliers (at most) for each category.
