TYPES OF SENTENCE

  1. Declarative - a statement
    Example:
    I have a basketball game tonight.
    I just finished reading that book.
  2. Interrogative - a question
    Example:
    Will you come to my game?

  3. Exclamatory - an exclamation
    Example:
    We won the game!
    This is the best book I have ever read!
  4. Imperative - a command or request.
    Example:
    Please come and watch me play.
