Basic manner to teach your child

1. Showing respect to older people. In Philippines we respect older people by doing "mano po", saying "po" and "opo".

Mano po

Children usually take the right hand of the elder with their right hand and bringing it to their forehead. It is a way to give respect to elders especially when we greet or say goodbye to them.

2. Let them wait for their turn and never interrupt other people when they are talking
3. Say, "Please", "Thank you", "Excuse Me", "I'm Sorry" and "You're welcome" often.
4. Let them clean or fix their toys after play time.
5. Take compliments graciously if somebody praises your children.
