Best to wait for someone


It is best to wait for the one you want than settle for the one available. Best to wait for the one you love than one who is just around. Life is too short to be waste on just someone so it is best to wait for the right one.  

Keep your eyes open, and do not fool yourself that you can change someone, or that what you see as faults is not that important. If you love your mate and want the relationship to grow and evolve, you have to learn how to close one eye and not let every little thing bothers you.

You and your partner have many different expectations, emotional needs, values, dreams, weaknesses, and strengths. Neither one of you is perfect, but are you perfect enough for each other? You cannot make someone love you, or make someone stay.

Seeking status, sex, and security are the wrong reasons to be in a relationship. A relationship keeps strong because of Communication, intimacy, a sense of humor, sharing household tasks, some getaway time without business or children, daily exchanges (a meal, shared activity, a hug, a call, a touch, a note, a kiss), sharing common goals and interests, giving each other space to grow without feeling insecure, and giving each other a sense of belonging and assurances of commitment.

If these qualities are missing, the relationship will erode as resentment, withdrawal, abuse, neglect, dishonesty, and pain replace the passion.

Never say goodbye when you still want to try.  Never give up when you still feel you can take it. Never say you no longer love a person when you cannot let go.

If you love someone tell them for hearts are often broken by words left unspoken.

All the things in life are not meant to last, things change and so people do. You can never hold on to something forever so learn to leave and let go.

You’re like no one else that I have loved before, there’s certain something in my heart, for the first time in my life I know for sure you’re the love that I’ve been looking for.  Is the feeling that we know that he/she is the one for us?

Love doesn’t come to people who anticipate it… It just comes unexpectedly… sometimes at a wrong time… so be sure you are ready to face the consequences… coz it hurts if you don’t… I’ve been in love but had never been loved and that hurts as well.

Si Liwayway A. Arceo ay ipinanganak sa Manila noong ika 30 ng Enero 1924 mula sa kilalang pamilya ng mga manunulat. Ito ay  nakasulat ng 90 nobela, 2 libong mahigit na kuwento, 1 libong mahigit na sanaysay, 36 tomo ng iskrip sa radyo, 7 aklat ng salin, 3 iskrip sa telebisyon, at di-mabilang na kuntil-butil na lathalain sa halos lahat ng pangunahing publikasyong Tagalog o Filipino. Nagsulat siya ng ilang nobela kabilang dito ang Canal de la Reian at Titser. Mayroon din siyang mga koleksiyon ng maiikling kuwento tulad ng "Ang Mag-Anak na Cruz, Mga Maria, Mga Eva at "Maybahay, Anak at iba pa".
